SYNOPSIS

The film, directed and performed by Davide Campagna, starts from the moment when Cliff arrests his brother James and tells about the journey they have to make, by cart, in order to reach the city, where James will be arrested and sentenced to death.

But journeys are built from the roads you choose to travel, and some roads might lead to a completely unexpected destination.

THE FILM

In the banality of good against evil, we have found ourselves facing with disconnected situations where people decide to settle trivial differences out of the need for a foregone happy ending.

What we propose is a dystopian situation, new and intriguing, where the relationship between two brothers is not only deepened and analyzed in the key of a fantasy world somewhere between ancient and modern, but is also analyzed with a new synergy, such as that of the prey and the hunter.

We could define “tension” as the key narrative of the plot, where time and travel almost become protagonists, above the two brothers around whom the story revolves.

NUN

“Do you know why fingers are often the first things to sufferour sins?

What do you hit when a child misbehaves to teachhim he’s wrong? Fingers. And what was used to be cut whensomeone broke the law? It’s all about fingers.

Fingers arethe real culprits of our actions. Not the head. In France theystill cut the head, because they condamn the thought. But whenwe think something, we are still not guilty until our fingerscarry out the action.”
